One supplier for inside and out
01

One supplier for inside and out

Most venues buy chairs from one importer, banquettes from a local joiner and beer garden furniture from a third. We make all three, drawn to one floor plan and finished to one colour scheme, so the dining room, the courtyard and the footpath look like the same venue and arrive in the same container.

Built for Australian sun and salt
02

Built for Australian sun and salt

Australia's UV levels and coastal air destroy furniture made for milder climates. Outdoor pieces get aluminium frames, solution-dyed weaves and stainless fixings; coastal venues can step up to marine-grade coatings and 316 hardware. Indoors, we specify wipeable, hard-wearing finishes for venues that never really close.

Container-direct, without the guesswork
03

Container-direct, without the guesswork

Buying factory-direct saves the importer margin, but only if the paperwork and packing are right. We pack to Australian and New Zealand biosecurity expectations, supply packing lists and declarations your broker needs, and load mixed containers so a whole fitout ships together.

04How we work
  1. 1

    Floor plan and brief

Send your plan or fitout drawings with seat targets, the look you want and timing. Tell us which areas are indoor, covered outdoor and fully exposed, and how far the venue is from the coast.

  2. 2

    Selection and specification

We propose chairs, banquettes, tables and outdoor pieces, check seat counts and aisles against your plan, and specify timbers, frames, fabrics and finishes. You receive a written spec and quote in metric.

  3. 3

    Drawings and samples

Dimensioned shop drawings for every built piece, especially banquettes cut to your walls. Pre-production samples or finish and fabric swatches are sent for approval before anything is made.

  4. 4

    Production and QC

Frames are made, finished and upholstered in our Foshan base. We check against the approved drawing, photograph finished pieces and confirm packing quantities before loading.

  5. 5

    Container to venue

We load your container, issue the commercial invoice, packing list and packing declaration details your customs broker needs, and ship FOB, CIF or DDP. Assembly guides are supplied for anything flat-packed.

07FAQ
Do you sell hospitality furniture in Australia and New Zealand?

Yes. Venue Fitout supplies cafes, pubs, restaurants and fitout companies across Australia and New Zealand. We are not a local warehouse: furniture is made to order in EASEN's own production base in Foshan, China, and shipped by sea to your nearest port, such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Fremantle, Adelaide or Auckland.

How long does a cafe or pub fitout order take to arrive?

Production is typically 30-45 days for standard designs and 45-60 days for custom work after drawings and samples are approved. Add sea freight from southern China, roughly two to four weeks to most Australian and NZ ports depending on the route, plus customs and biosecurity clearance. Your quote confirms the timeline.

Can you make banquettes to fit our exact walls?

Yes. Send measured wall lengths and any obstacles such as windows, power points or columns. We draw the banquette in millimetres, you approve it, and we build it in sections sized to pass through your doors and fit the space.

What is the minimum order?

Minimums are low for contract orders and confirmed per design, so a single cafe can order directly. Most clients ship a full or shared container mixing chairs, banquettes, tables and outdoor pieces, which keeps freight per item reasonable. Smaller orders can travel as LCL (shared container) freight; we will tell you in the quote which option is more economical for your volume.

Does imported furniture need fumigation for Australia?

Not automatically. Australia's biosecurity rules focus on timber packaging, container cleanliness and certain timber, cane and bamboo goods. Solid timber packaging must be ISPM 15 compliant or treated, and full container loads need a packing declaration that includes a container cleanliness statement. Requirements change, so your customs broker should check the Department of Agriculture's BICON system for your goods before shipment.

Is your outdoor furniture suitable for coastal venues?

Yes, with the right specification. We use aluminium frames that do not rust, solution-dyed weaves and stainless fixings, and recommend marine-grade coatings and 316 stainless hardware for venues near breaking surf. Even then, a regular fresh-water rinse is part of looking after outdoor furniture by the sea.
