The Glebe pairs a tall back of vertical spindles with a round solid timber seat, giving a slightly rustic, farmhouse feel that suits bakeries, brunch cafes and wine bars with timber-heavy interiors. A bent timber ring braces the legs below the seat.
It is finished in a warm mid-brown stain that shows the grain, and the solid seat can be refinished when it wears. Spindle backs collect a little more dust than solid backs, so include them in the weekly cleaning routine. A tie-on seat pad can be supplied in your fabric.
Pairing and layout. The Glebe suits square two-tops of 600-700 mm and long communal tables alike, and its round seat makes it easy to tuck under tables during mopping. For a bakery-cafe look, pair it with pale timber tops and the same stain on the chair; for a darker wine bar, choose a walnut or ebonised finish. Felt or nylon glides are fitted to suit your flooring.
