The Fitzroy is the chair most people picture when they think of a good neighbourhood cafe. A continuous steam-bent timber frame rises into an oval back filled with woven cane, which keeps the chair visually light and lets air through on warm days. The round seat is padded and covered in brown faux leather as standard, comfortable for a long breakfast and quick to wipe between sittings.
Under the seat, a bent timber ring ties the four legs together. That ring is what keeps a bentwood chair square after years of being dragged across concrete and tiles. The frame is finished in a mid-brown stain and sealed with a hard-wearing commercial lacquer; any stain can be matched to your joinery.
Cane is a natural material: it will mellow in colour over time and should be kept out of all-day direct sun and away from heaters. For footpath seating, choose one of our outdoor bistro chairs instead.
