In a small, bright cafe, a high-backed booth can wall off half the room. The Brunch bench keeps it open: the back is only 750 mm high, framed in light solid oak and filled with natural woven cane, so guests can see across the venue and light passes through. A slim lumbar pad sits along the back and the seat cushion is removable on a concealed zip.
The bench stands on four slim timber legs with about 160 mm of clearance, which makes sweeping and mopping underneath far easier than with a solid plinth. It suits brunch cafes, bakeries and venues that are photographed a lot.
Pairing and layout. Pair it with light timber or terrazzo-look tables 600-700 mm deep and our bentwood or ply chairs on the open side. Allow about 600 mm per person, so the standard 1,500 mm length seats two to three. Natural cane belongs out of direct afternoon sun; position the bench on walls without full western exposure, or choose a fabric back panel for sunny windows.
