The Cottesloe takes the bistro form and lightens it for the coast: a white powder-coated aluminium frame and a fine pale grey and white weave that stays cool in the sun and looks right against white walls, timber decks and sea views.
Pale frames show dirt sooner than dark ones, so plan a quick wipe-down into closing. For venues near breaking surf, ask about marine-grade coating systems and stainless fixings; a fresh-water rinse every week or two helps any outdoor furniture by the sea.
Pairing and layout. It sits well at white or pale timber-look round tables of 600-700 mm on footpaths and decks, and in bright indoor cafes that open onto a terrace. The light weave stays cooler than dark finishes in the afternoon sun. Like our other bistro chairs, it stacks for pack-down and storm preparation, and individual frames can be re-woven if the weave is damaged. Frame and weave colours can be adjusted for your scheme.
